I call this photo documentary
"Anatomy of a Fundraiser"!
This is how our
"Lakewood Historical Society Day"
fundraiser, hosted by
Charlie Brown's Steakhouse of Lakewood, NJ
was conceived from beginning to end!
{Photo #1} General Manager, Roland Weinert presented me with this letter and I presented it to the members of the "Lakewood Historical Society" and there was unanimous agreement and enthusiasm for participating!! ;-)
{Photo #2} Charlie Brown's Marketing Department printed this flyer which was stragetically placed throughout the restaurant. We printed "mini-flyers" sized to fit in the patrons check folder. When the "mini-flyers" ran low, Roland and I both printed up more and I sliced them in half... and of course since I was already there... I had LUNCH {Charlie's Ruben Special}!! ;-)
{Photo #3} Our "THANK YOU" letter to General Manager, Roland Weinert and his fine staff for not only promoting our event, but also for going above and beyond when the restaurant became very busy!! We thank "CB Restaurants, Inc." and their marketing department for allowing us the opportunity to have such a SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISER!! And, it WAS SUCCESSFUL!! As you can see, the "Lakewood Historical Society" received a check for their 20% donation of the entire day's food sales in the amount of $1,653.00!! ;-)
{Photo #4} Steve Wexler, presiding over our "dinner/meeting"! ;-)
{Photo #5} Members of the "Lakewood Historical Society" enjoying a delicious meal! ;-)
{Photo #6} More members enjoying the evening! ;-)
{Photo #7} ... and still MORE of us enjoying!! ;-)
